Recent Work

This family of five needed a better kitchen and baths. The blueprint shows how the addition (built by a previous owner) was being used as a family room, while the original galley kitchen remained. 

This family of four bought a beautiful brick home in River Forest but couldn't quite make the kitchen work. The kitchen was separated from all the other rooms in the house with small door openings into the hall, the dining room and the breakfast room. 

Anyone who has lived in Chicago for any period of time has been inside a two flat. Like a bungalow, they are typically built with a single interior supporting wall down the middle making for a bit of a “bowling alley” effect.
