Brickstaining

Details make the difference. The existing main entrance was a side door, and the homeowner wanted to have a real front door but make it appear original to the house.  The owner also didn't like the color of the masonry, which was faded and stained after years of neglect. The photo above shows the house as it appeared when the homeowner bought it. The photos below show the process of brick staining (with a 25 year guarantee) starting with protecting everything that will not be stained (roof, doors and windows, garden) and then proceeds to "basing" the house in one color, which will show through at the end of the process as the mortar joint.

Once the base is complete, technicians add individual brick colors in various tones.

The result is a stunning and seamless transformation. Not only does the front entrance appear as though it's original to the footprint of the house, the brick color and tone make this classic four-square house a knockout. Needless to say the owners were extremely satisfied with the amount of detail that was accomplished with their renovation.
